With 49 estates and 7,216 staff across 32,725 hectares of land, we are one of the leading and largest companies in the country. Through our operations at the Maturata, Hapugastenne and Udapussellawa plantations, we supervise extensive areas dedicated to tea, rubber, cinnamon, commercial timber and various ancillary crops.

    Tropical Island Commodities

    Tropical Island Commodities has over 40 years of experience in the production to retail packaging of Ceylon Cinnamon and spices. The company owns a GMP and ISO-certified manufacturing plant. Europe, Mexico, Japan and the USA are the main export destinations of the company.

    Browns Ceylon Tea is renowned for its hallmark quality and exceptional flavour. Backed by the Group’s expertise in the tea industry, Browns Tea provides white-label brands for tea importers and traders worldwide. From orthodox black tea, and instant tea to flavoured teas, the entity’s bulk tea range caters to a wide market segment.

    Browns Tea’s acquisition of Euro Asia Tea, and integration of its operations and resources has expanded the entity’s production capacity and sales in the international market. The new venture will focus on value-added products and assimilated supplementary brands including F&S, Sabro, Favour and a Tea.
